Xinapse Donates Case Management to NBI
The National Bureau of Investigation, represented by its National Capital Region (NCR) Regional Director Atty. Edmundo Arugay, signed a 5 Million Peso software donation with Xinapse Inc. last Dec 7, 2004 with Xinapse, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Jade Deinla, Chief Technical Officer Kinchan Cepillo and Business Development Directore Rodney Pacis as co-signatories.
The donation specifies that Xinapse will donate to NBI software solutions for Data Mining and Biometrics technology.
The Data Mining software by Xinapse will allow a querying of the NBI database to facilitate fast searching of information related to certain operations of the bureau. The NBI will be able to develop its knowledge based of suspicious cases and characters backed by a search engine. Biometrics software, on the other hand, allows a digital database of fingerprints.
Xinapse industrial partners include Mega Data Computer Corporation, Informatics, and the KAZ group of Australia.
Xinapse was founded by then UP Students Deinla, Cepillo and Pacis, who dreamt of establishing a Filipino-owned Information Technology Company which provides effective technology solutions and at the same time uplifting the country through their endeavours.
